Billionaire Razak Okoya And Wife Sade Get The Opportunity Of A Lifetime As Queen Elizabeth Sends Them A Royal Invite; See What They Did With Her (Photos)
If I could have dinner with any human being, I would certainly pick Queen Elizabeth II. This monarch has ruled in England for 67 years, and I can only imagine the type of stories that she would bring to the table. But this story is not about me, obviously, it is about a certain Nigerian billionaire and his wife who have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to have a private time dining with the Queen herself. Yay, right? Well the lucky couple is none other than Nigerian billionaire Razak Okoya and his young wife, Sade.
The power couple was recently hosted by the Queen of England at the Buckingham Palace. The duo was invited to the queen’s garden party at the palace which held on May 15, 2019. Obviously not one to disappoint, the Okoyas’ were present at the event in all their glory and lovely photos of them at the palace have been making the rounds on social media.
Sometimes, love is faced with hardships and several criticisms and that was no doubt the case of this power couple. The duo, who have decades between them in age were initially faced with backlash from the society who felt it was out of place for a young university student to wed a billionaire as his last wife. However, the couple have grown to become one of Nigeria’s favourite seeing as they have been able to keep their relationship even 20 years after.
Razaq Okoya is a billionaire industrialist whose youngest wife and mother of his 4 kids named Sade Thomas Okoya was in her twenties when she got married to her husband Razaq Okoya who was already in his late years in a grand and societal wedding. The business mogul was born in Lagos on 12 January 1940 to Tiamiyu Ayinde and Alhajha Idiatu Okoya. He had his only formal education at Ansar-un-deen primary School, Oke popo, Lagos. He is the owner and founder of Eleganza group of companies that has a market spanning Western Africa.
According to Sade, her husband did not make any pretense about his age. He saw her, liked her and told her he wanted to marry her. She said she agreed because he was generous to a fault. Their union seems to be a loving one. The young billionaire wife recently clocked 42 and the couple also celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. The couple who have been married two decades have four beautiful children together. They marked their wedding anniversary on April 28, 2019. The socialite and business woman graduated from the University of Lagos.
While we are still on the matter, we do know that Queen Elizabeth II has ruled in England for 66 years, and we can only imagine the type of stories that she would bring to the dinner table. (Perhaps we would dine on these classic British foods!) If you were to feast with the Queen, these are the two most important rules you would need to abide by.
Rule 1: Don’t sit before the Queen does
If anyone is dining with the Queen (even during a huge reception, like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding), you must follow the lead of the Queen when it comes to approaching the table. No one is allowed to sit until the Queen is settled into her seat.
Rule 2: You can only eat while she is eating
The second rule follows suit with the first. Since everyone has to follow the queue of the Queen, that also applies to starting or finishing a meal. When the Queen starts eating, the rest of the dinner party is allowed to eat. But you better eat quick, because as soon as the Queen finishes, everyone else must finish as well.
